We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Site Supervisor to supervise commercial construction projects with a strong emphasis on civil and site prep from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Project Site Supervisor must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and execute specifications and plans
- Manage in house laborers and subcontractors to ensure that work is done according to the specifications and schedule
- Quality control all levels of work
- Create and maintain construction schedule
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Plan and execute all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Acquire equipment and material and ensure necessary supplies on on site in a timely manner
- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
- Prepare detailed job reports in a timely matter including be not limited to timesheets, daily reports, progress reports, safety reports, and quality control reports.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Skills
- Proven experience as construction project site supervisor
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and materials and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
