Are you disillusioned with institutional medicine, telling you who you will see, how many patients you must see, what you must refer out, and limiting your ability to practice medicine the way it was intended to be practiced? Ready for a big change? You will not find one larger than this outpatient opportunity in a fantastic Oregon college city. Physicians and their families will appreciate the abundant outdoor recreational opportunities available in the Willamette Valley, as well as the proximity to the pristine Oregon Coast for fun in the sun, the Cascade Mountains for snow sports, and Portland, Oregon’s largest city with its diverse food, arts, cultural scene – all within two hours! An excellent school system (both public and private) is one of many features making Corvallis one of the “most educated small cities in the US”. Experience the unmatched quality of life our area has to offer as you continue your professional journey at CFM. Oregon is a No Sales Tax state.
CFM, a well-established (30+years) physician-owned, highly regarded, collaborative family medicine practice is offering an opportunity to follow your passion. Our single-site facility boasts in-house laboratory testing, EKG, minor procedure rooms for laceration repairs, dermatologic procedures, fracture management, a new Paxis 100 digital Straight Arm X-ray machine, as well as a handheld ultrasound machine to expedite our patients’ care as well as an EMR (eCW) in the cloud that boasts AI dictation capabilities. Our patients have access to behavioral health providers as part of our practice offerings. Many of our physicians and APPs have developed subspecialties to augment services available to our patients, including migraine and eating disorder treatment, osteomanipulation, infectious disease management, treadmill stress tests, and women’s care. What unique talent and passion might you develop and share with your CFM colleagues and patients? Our eight (8) provider (5 physicians and 3 APPS) group allows our providers scheduling flexibility to accommodate life’s ever-changing demands. We are close to world-class research/resource facilities, OHSU & the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Northwest (COMP-Northwest), where we have a strong history of training the next generation of physicians, and work collaboratively with their medical staff.
This FTE position is a 4 day per week (34 contact hours) schedule with one (phone triage only) on-call night approximately every 2 weeks and one weekend approximately every 8 weeks allowing abundant time to enjoy all this wonderful area offers. Our “call” is telephone triage only, as we have coverage for all hospital patients and admissions, can be done wherever you have phone and internet service. As a private clinic, we have larger latitude for our providers in scheduling, patient panel diversity, and patient volumes. We offer partnership and non-partnership tracks for our physicians.
