Position: Collections Specialist

Your Mission:
- Format, research, and analyze weekly collections reports to identify collections opportunities.
- Contact business and property owners via telephone and email to pursue collections.
- Meet daily and weekly call expectations.
- Regularly update various reports with notes on collections activities.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships to enhance collection efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to understand client relationships.
- Contact county agencies to determine the status of refunds.
- Understand and apply the terms of client contracts.
- Ensure compliance with all laws associated with collections and recovery.
- Communicate effectively to overcome objections and resolve debt issues.
- Follow established policies and procedures.
- Take direction well and be self-motivated.
- Preferred knowledge of skip tracing and asset searches.
- Research and resolve past-due invoices and payment issues.
Your Talent:
- Management skills with 2-5 years of successful commercial collection and credit experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
- Ability to handle escalated issues calmly and professionally.
- Quick learner with analytical and detail-oriented skills.
- Excellent follow-through skills.
- Positive work ethic and attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
