Northland Control Systems, Inc., is looking for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Project Engineer in Atlanta, GA.
The QA/QC Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and implementing the quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes on various projects. This role ensures that the engineering and construction activities meet the required quality standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and align with project specifications.
The QA QC Project Engineer collaborates with project teams, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality results.

Excellent organizational skills are a must with three years of quality control and quality assurance experience. Familiarity with access control systems or video management systems is a huge plus.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in security.

Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, standards, and methodologies.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and protocols for projects.
-
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and tests to verify quality standards.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, technicians, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met.

Participate in project meetings and provide updates on QA/QC issues and progress.

Review project specifications, drawings, and documents for quality requirements.

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.

Ensure proper documentation of all quality-related activities and maintain organized records.

Identify and investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and deviations from project specifications.

Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality problems.

Monitor and follow up on corrective actions to ensure their effectiveness.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA/QC processes and project outcomes.

Analyze project performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
