Shark Construction services is a subcontractor for general contractors in Central Florida Area and throughout Florida. We specialize in the Commercial division for Interior and Exterior Metal Framing - Drywall- Finishing- Acoustical and Demolition.
We are seeking an experienced office manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of outside crews, ensuring smooth processes within the office, and driving business growth with proactive communication with clients and external consultants.
Our company is currently seeking an accountant/bookkeeper specializing in commercial construction to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing financial records, scheduling, as well as organizing project files and information.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in construction accounting a must.
- Must be familiar P&L, balance sheet, all financial reports,
- Fundamental knowledge of AIA forms, pay applications, insurance forms.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Lien waivers, must be familiar with AIA forms.
- Record data into Project tracker- Employment tracker-Expense Reports
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Deal with subcontractors, owners, pay applications, waivers, etc.
- Answer phones.
- Balance several accounts, pay monthly bills, reconcile credit card statements and bank statements.
Requirements:
- At least five year’s (5) experience i
- Excellent leadership, communication, and personnel management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management - for scheduling day to day operations
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills -Bilingual is a plus.
- Well-organized and reliable
