Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, injuries, and illnesses, and prepare reports for management.
- Coordinate safety training programs for employees, including first aid, CPR, and other relevant topics.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist in the development of emergency response plans and conduct drills as necessary.
- Provide guidance on workers' compensation claims process and ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws.
Skills:
- Strong report writing skills to accurately document safety incidents, inspections, and investigations.
- Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and standards.
- First aid certification to provide immediate medical assistance when needed.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and laws to effectively manage claims.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of safety incidents.
- Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs for employees.
- Knowledge of occupational health principles to assess workplace hazards and recommend control measures.

Pay: $61,118.00 - $64,632.00 per year
