Job Summary:
The Plant Manager is responsible for planning, maintaining, and directing all manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, directing and optimum execution of day-to-day operations in fabrication, powder coating, shipping and receiving, logistics and quality departments.
- Assuring compliance with all local, state and federal laws as well as company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for on-time delivery of steel fabricated tanks produced and shipped from Goodman, MO location to customer designated work sites.
- Establish manufacturing processes, procedures and controls necessary to ensuring a quality product is produced, safely and on time.
- Develop and track KPIs necessary for improvement in performance and develop procedures to increase capacity to support continued business growth
- Responsible for manufacturing hours and material spends performed within project budget and improvements in productivity
- Ensuring optimization of machinery and equipment with focus on preventative maintenance programs
- Effectively allocating resources and delegating work as needed
- Creating and managing facility budget and capital projects
- Establish and maintain lean manufacturing processes, implementing strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives
- Provide clear sense of direction and focus to departmental leadership and team members
- Oversee existing quality management system and improve system as needed to exceed customer requirements. Improve quality by studying, evaluating and implementing change.
- Ensure that established standardization of work processes are kept up to date with manufacturing procedures as required
- Identify bottlenecks and work toward resolution for improvement of production flow
- Approximately 60% of work functions will be hands on with direct report management, supporting their departmental achievements and targets, with approximately 40% of work functions being administrative duties

- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Products – good Excel skills
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, depending on experience
- 3+ years production or engineering experience in a sheet metal fabrication business is preferred
- 5+ years of managing production operations and knowledge regarding manufacturing and employment laws
- 3+ years of lean manufacturing experience preferred
Required Travel and expectations:
- Travel up to 15% of time to job sites, as needed
- Worksite is located at 5897 State Highway 59 in Goodman, MO 64843
- Required work schedule of Monday-Friday, flexibility required to oversee multiple production shifts
o Support of 24/7 manufacturing operation, as need, outside of Monday-Friday schedule
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
