As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Primary Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating software development projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products within specified timelines and budgets while being responsible for driving the product vision, defining requirements/product backlog, and ensuring alignment with business objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, task and deliverables to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing potential risks or issues.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives to review progress, address challenges by helping to remove obstacles, and promote productivity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, executives, and internal teams.
- Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Solicit feedback from stakeholders to inform project decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Conduct regular reviews and inspections to identify and address quality issues.
- Mitigate project risks by proactively identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans.
- Monitor and track project metrics and KPIs to measure progress and performance.
- Drive process improvements and best practices adoption within the software development lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant advancements into project planning and execution.
- Lead post-project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding client expectations and managing them effectively to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development project management and a PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies (i.e., Scrum), processes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
