Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing reservations, and handling cash transactions. Duties: - Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival - Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover - Provide accurate wait times and communicate any delays to guests - Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries - Operate the POS system (Aloha POS) to process cash transactions - Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and lobby area - Assist servers with various tasks as needed - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery - Uphold high standards of customer service and resolve any guest concerns or complaints Qualifications: - Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred - Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere - Proficient in operating POS systems, preferably Aloha POS - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality - Strong phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Detail-oriented with good organizational skills We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
