We are a fast-growing organization founded in 2016 with 9 health centers and now serving hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries who receive primary care at health centers and independent practices across Massachusetts. Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Operations and in partnership with the Leadership Team and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) partners, the Manager of Value Based Contract Operations is responsible for implementation and day-to-day maintenance of value-based contract operations. The Manager fosters strong internal and external relationships to ensure success in all risk contract operational functions. They must be innovative, comfortable with ambiguity, well-organized, and committed to moving quickly and collaboratively. The Manager must also have strong analytical skills and communicate clearly and succinctly in both written and verbal communication. In addition to ensuring value-based contract operational success, the manager is responsible for a wide range of contract related, logistical, and administrative duties, as well as successful day-to-day management of value-based contract operations. The Manager of Value Based Contract Operations works closely with the Senior Director of Operations, Medicare Performance, Compliance, and other teams to ensure operational and continuous improvement plans are in place.
Responsibilities:

Leads and manage the implementation of new risk or value-based contracts

Leads day-to-day maintenance, operations to ensure all needed systems and processes are in place to support the scope of value based contracts

Ensure that all operating deadlines are met and that operations are in full compliance with value based contracts

In collaboration with other departments, develops goals and manages the program based on industry knowledge, federal, state, and contractual regulations ensuring innovation, and compliance

Organizes and supports implementation of benefit enhancements and other innovations in collaboration with additional departments

Collaborates with internal staff to facilitate cross-departmental initiatives that ensure success in value-based contracts, including Clinical Operations, Quality, Risk, Analytics, Finance, National Strategy team, and others

Leads and manages the internal and external meetings and workgroups as necessary

In close collaboration with the Strategy and Finance team, steers and manages all initiatives related to value-based contract operations as identified through the Executive Team and associated management metrics, such as the Board Scorecard

Collaborates with the Senior Director of Operations, other entities and staff to ensure comprehensive plans are in place while conducting continuous process evaluation and improvement

Responds to regulatory requests, reviews, and distributes new requirements, including Newsletters, supports audits, and serves as a subject matter expert on risk contract

Facilitates collaboration and establish strong lines of communication across all departments and externally with MassHealth, CMS, and other payers

Provides additional support for Operations, Compliance, and other departments based on organizational needs including audits

Desired Other Skills:

Experience with risk/value-based contracts including, such as MassHealth ACO, MSSP and ACO REACH preferred

Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers

Experience with anti-racism activities, and/or lived experience with racism is highly preferred
Qualifications:
- Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or a related field preferred

3-5 years of professional healthcare experience strongly preferred

Experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers preferred
