We Care Senior Care dba Home Instead is seeking a Human Resource Associate to support our headquarters benefits and workers compensation activities.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
· Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to benefits, hiring processes, policy, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
· Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
· Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
· Performs various HR administrative tasks in support of unemployment information requests, job and wage inquiries, federal and state reports and related HR actions and activities.
· Assists with interactions between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
· Assists in the preparation of reports for benefit and workers compensation administration.
· Assists in the preparation and maintenance of OSHA logs.
· Administers the organizations FMLA program.
· Performs other HR duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· STRONG Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
· Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Associate’s degree in Human Resources or 2-3 years experience required.
· Prior related office experience preferred.
· Certified SHRM CP or HRCI aPHR preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
