Construction Contracts Administrator
The Christopher Companies is seeking a full-time Contract Estimator to support and facilitate multiple projects in our multi-family operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Estimating for Multi-Family projects as required.
Assists with ratifying vendor contracts on DocuSign.
Assists with the updating and maintenance of contract status reports - for each project and/or community.
Assist with the distribution of architectural plans and information flow to Project Managers.
Administer purchase orders for both Single Family and Multifamily departments.
Upload all specific unit documents to the ITK (Internet Tool Kit) system.
Update and coordinate change order logs for Multifamily with ratified addendum links
Saves multifamily documents to one drive.
Requesting, tracking, and entering bids and costs
Reviewing, entering, and distributing vendor bids
Assist with budget reviews
Create and distribute vendor contact lists
Review and coordinate submission of change orders to contracts
Assist the Marketing Department in creating Product Books
Build pricing & maintain Contracting System
Use of Excel for supporting schedules and data analysis
Coordinate filing of correspondence with the city and county governments
Coordinate and organize appointments and meetings both in office as well as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Education and Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma; college degree preferred but not required
- Experience working with software systems
- 2 years utilizing computers, Microsoft Excel and Word,
- 2 years of construction administrative experience
- Experience working with bids, contracts, and estimates
- Work Location and Hours-Oakton, VA: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay: $68,500 (annual salary exempt position)
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Dropbox and DocuSign
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- A self-starter willing to learn
