*SEEKING: Full-time ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician (ABAs/LBAs/RBTs welcome!)*
Perfect for BCBA/LBA Supervision for Those Working Towards Their Certification!
Seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and passionate person for a full-time position on the Upper East Side, Manhattan. The role involves working with a sweet, loving 6-year-old boy with well-controlled epilepsy full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm, most at school/camp and at home as well.
Responsibilities:
- Accompanying the child at his mainstream Jewish day school/camp.
- Supervise and assist with ADLs and personal care.
- Enforcing special diet and restrictions.
- Encouraging social-emotional learning, emotional and behavior regulation.
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients
- Collect and record data on client behavior during sessions
- Assist in the development of treatment goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective communication and progress tracking
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Support clients in various settings to generalize skills learned during therapy sessions
Experience:
- Registered/Behavior Technician experience
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral health interventions and strategies
- Knowledge of data collection methods and techniques
- Experience in patient care, especially children, is beneficial
- Understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices
- Ability to follow behavioral therapy protocols accurately
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate data daily during sessions

Educational/Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in education, ABA, psychology or similar.
- Previous experience with special needs children is a must. Preference for candidates who have worked as paras or studying Applied Behavioral Analysis.
