Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of procurement documents such as Request for Qualifications, Request for Proposals and Request for Bids.

Strong understanding of contracting process and contract issues, design, procurement and construction regulations and terms and conditions.

Prepare scoring criteria and interview design and construction firms.

Ability to analyze and review Qualifications/Proposals/Bids and provide advice and recommendations to the client.

Ability to analyze and negotiate contract requirements and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with client’s requirements, corporate policies, appropriate laws and regulations.

Timely review of all contracts, change orders, modifications and amendments.

Ensure that all contract changes are recorded and communicated with the appropriate staff.

Implement and maintain contract tracking processes and policies.

Manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' of experience as a Contracts Manager within the AEC industry.

Experience drafting RFQ/RFPs; and onboarding design firms, general contractors, construction managers and other third-party vendors.

Experience in different procurement methods, at minimum: Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Construction Management at Risk.

Proficient in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing AIA Contracts for design and construction.
