High Performance Medical Solutions (HPMS), is a global contract manufacturer for OEMs. We specialize in manufacturing medical tubing and cable, which are mission-critical components in the surgical, vascular, endoscopy, and ultrasound device markets. Our ISO Class 8 and Class 9 cleanrooms provide over 30,000 ft. of cleanroom space allowing us to offer robust in-house solutions such as turnkey secondary operations like tipping, printing, punching, sub-assembly for catheters, plus device kitting.
Position Summary
The Packer is responsible for individual handling/packaging activities as instructed by a supervisor to meet customer requirements. The Packer requires the ability to understand Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Additional main responsibilities include adhering to policies and procedures related to customer requirements.
Essential Functions

Counts and packs all products in regard to the Quality Management System.

Fills out all subsequent paperwork and logs in and out of the D365 system (PFE).

Immediately report unsafe conditions/behaviors and work-related injuries to site supervision

Follow outlined work instructions as they pertain to individual job tasks.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
-
High School Diploma, GED, or the equivalent combination of education is required.

Experience within the department must be gained within 90 days for use of specific inspection equipment, displaying an understanding of the job requirements and any devices required to complete hand handling/packaging activities.

Specific competencies include but are not limited to Gowning Procedure, Product conformity, use of pin gages calipers and TAPPI chart, visual inspection and feel testing techniques, bagging, and product labeling.
