Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our North American sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the renewable energy market and a proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding market share. This role is critical to our mission of accelerating the adoption of renewable energy solutions across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals in North America.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, to expand the company’s footprint in the renewable energy sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of sales metrics and performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and European Sales Director to design and implement effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards in sales practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Past work history can be a substitute for degrees.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of the North American renewable energy market, including key players, trends, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently within North America.
