We are currently seeking a Purchasing Analyst for our Deerfield Beach location. This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leader. In this role, you will support the organization by providing expertise in supplier management, vendor issues, forecasting and inventory operations.
- Analyze all Vendor Incidents and develop trending reporting
- Track open Packaging/Finished Goods SARs
- Manage changes for packaging
- Report on inventory and timing
- Coordinate with PLM (forecast) & Plant Buyers/Planners to ensure initial orders are being placed accordingly.
- Place Direct-to-Customer Purchase Orders as prompted by orders from Customer Service
- Manage prices and additional costs for Finished Goods & Packaging, analyze for actioning of near-expiration, document & audit to confirm records.
- Maintain product master and share information pertaining to new products (i.e., preferred supplier, HTS codes, COO, pricing).
- Coordinate vendor activation process by gathering required documents from suppliers meeting MAPEI requirements
- Develop and manage process for acquiring and maintaining Specifications from Suppliers of PKG/FG, maintain Specifications Library and expand to complete all FG/PKG.
- Perform receiving activities on services/indirect purchases as required for the department.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
- Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field, preferred.
- Min of 3 years’ experience in purchasing, strongly preferred.
- Moderate to advanced excel skills, required.
- The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the Internet, if required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
