Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism
- Provide behavioral therapy and intervention services to clients, implementing evidence-based strategies and techniques
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as educators and speech therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care
- Train and supervise behavior technicians or other staff members working directly with clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
Skills:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Proficient in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, both with clients and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt interventions based on individual client needs
