Job Summary:
We’re looking for an exceptional Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner to join the team at our Harlem location on a full-time or part-time basis. You’ll be a critical part of the care team at Juno and practice alongside a talented group of clinicians who believe everyone deserves great care.
As a Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner, you will:
- Provide exceptional care for our littlest patients and trusted guidance for their families
- Deliver evidence-based preventive services, including well-child exams, childhood immunizations, and routine developmental screenings
- Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests as indicated by clinical context and physical assessment
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses, prescribing all recommended medications and treatments
- Communicate with collaborating pediatricians and family medicine physicians regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records
Minimum Requirements:
- At least five years of experience in an outpatient pediatrics or similar setting
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- New York State License
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- A high-degree of comfort using tools such as iPads for charting and HIPAA secure messaging apps for care coordination
