No exhaustive lesson planning or grading is required. Our curriculum is accessible via a digital platform, which allows you the opportunity to focus solely on student engagement and progress monitoring. Our on-site program is daily from 9 am to 3 pm and follows the Broward County school calendar.
Your primary responsibilities will include student supervision, ensuring adherence to academic timelines, one-on-one student interactions as necessary, and occasional facilitation of interactive learning sessions. A supportive network of fellow educators, certified teachers, and administrative personnel will be readily available to provide assistance and guidance.
This role provides an opportunity to foster meaningful connections within a nurturing small-class environment. Positions are available across both elementary (K through 6th) and secondary (7th through 12th) grade levels.

Duties:
· Design and execute captivating and interactive lessons that foster student engagement.
· Instruct lessons to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting.
· Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the learning environment, encouraging diversity and mutual respect.
· Regularly assess student progress and offer constructive feedback on their academic performance.
· Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers and staff to develop comprehensive curricula and instructional materials.
· Make use of library resources and services to enrich student learning opportunities.
· Provide valuable academic guidance and support to students, assisting them in achieving their educational goals.
· Implement effective behavior management strategies to cultivate a harmonious and positive classroom ambiance.
· Tailor instruction to cater to individual student needs, ensuring personalized learning experiences.
Teacher Requirements:
- Previous experience in classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring is highly valued.
- Candidates should demonstrate a willingness and ability to teach various subjects across different grade levels.
- Familiarity with MS Office and Zoom/Teams is a plus.
- Ability to pass a level 2 background screening.
- Above all, a genuine passion for helping students succeed is essential!
The position is set to start August 5, 2024.
