LPN Care Coordinator (Remote - Tennessee)

Our growing, woman-owned business is seeking a highly motivated LPN Care Coordinator to join our team! In this full-time, Monday-Friday role, you'll work from the comfort of your home office, providing vital support for our work-related injury case management services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the team with scheduling, planning, and coordinating medical care for injured workers.
- Communicate effectively with insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, employers, and injured workers.
- Assist the nursing team to closely monitor case progress and coordinate care to ensure timely and cost-effective claim resolution.
- Maintain accurate and HIPAA-compliant medical records.
- Utilize various software programs, including case management software, MS Office suite, Adobe products, Google applications, multi-line phone software, and an EMR system.
- In this fast-paced environment, this role demands a high level of autonomy, requiring you to make independent decisions while adhering to TN Workers' Compensation regulations and ensuring compliance.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Must have proof of valid Tennessee LPN licensure in good standing.
- Proven experience in office administration or management is required.
- Solid work history with a commitment to long-term career growth.
- Strong medical terminology knowledge (plus legal terminology preferred).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple calendars independently.
- Proficient in computer technology and various software programs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong grammar and spelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage workflow effectively.
- Dedicated phone skills with the ability to manage multi-line phone programs.
- Dedicated, enclosed workspace in your home that is quiet, distraction-free, and HIPAA-compliant during business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST). *Please note that regardless of the time zone of where you live the business hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST.
**Tennessee residency is mandatory for this position.
