We are partnering with our health insurance client to identify an Instructional Designer to support the Customer Experience Learning group on various instructor-led and eLearning projects. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to conduct learning needs analyses and develop suitable learning solutions for diverse learner types and skill levels. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing complex learning solutions, such as live virtual instructor-led training materials and interactive digital self-paced courses on business processes and systems.
Start Date: Early July
Duration: Through 2024, with the possibility to extend
Hours: 40 hours per week; flexible working hours, but must be available during Pacific working hours
Location: Virtual
Experience Required:
- Advanced knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory, typically obtained through education and experience.
- Ability to learn and explain complex subjects, processes, and systems
- Proficiency in formatting materials for readability, creating clear graphics from screenshots, and using templates for continuity
- Experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise); must use own computer and software throughout the project
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Previous customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Previous health insurance industry experience is preferred but not required.
- A background check and drug screen are required for the selected consultant.
- Must be able to share work samples.

The pay range for this is $55.00 to $60.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
