Minimum Education and Experience
Completion of Board accredited training programs in General Obstetrics & Gynecology. Board certified or board eligible in General Ob/Gyn.

Overview
1. Develop and implement protocols and policies as they relate to Complex Family Planning care and Obstetrics and Gynecology as appropriate.
2. Assist with oversight of Complex Family Planning patient care across the continuum for the department, and for specific patient care as appropriate.
3. Assist in establishing appropriate patient flow for patients, inclusive of admission, surgical, medical and/or critical care services.
4. Also aid in the development in outpatient office procedures with opportunities to perform LEEP, and office hysteroscopy in addition to abortion care.
5. Work with the Director of Complex Family Planning in the development of Ryan Residency Training program and the development of the Title X and Abortion NJFPL Programs, as well as supporting the RTEI grant.
6. Departmental and hospital committee membership as appropriate.
7. Participate in obstetrics and Gynecology Performance Improvement projects and initiatives as appropriate.
8. Work with hospital and department management and other clinicians to ensure ongoing quality of care.
9. Identifies and develops relationships with external partners to implement program strategies in advancing Complex Family Planning.
10. Participate in Obstetrics and Gynecology educational conferences such as Grand Rounds, Morbidity and Mortality and Didactics.
11. Directly supervise, train and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students.
12. Participate in relevant research as needed.
