Start Date: Immediate
Primary Job Responsibility: Promptly and effectively evaluate, negotiate, and adjust property claims, investigates the claim, confirm insurance coverage, establishes damages, and negotiates settlement of claims via various communication channels such as telephone, internet and email.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Investigates cause and origin of claims by contacting the appropriate parties including insured, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, other adjusters, public personnel, etc.
- Inspects damaged property and determines claims related damage. Estimates the cost of repair or replacement of damaged property.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to develop a fair resolution to the claim.
- Manage the claim process and keeping all parties informed
- Works with carriers’ insurance adjuster, independent adjuster, appraisers, attorneys, property while negotiating the claim.
- Recommends reasonable amount the insurance company should pay.
- Log all meetings and notes in CRM
- Photograph damages
Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain Texas Public Adjuster license
- Solid customer service skills
- Exceptional time management skills are a must
- Valid driver license (driving record will be verified)
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
- Reliable vehicle capable of carrying necessary equipment (transporting ladder)
- Strong computer skills
- General understanding of building construction
- Effectively communicate in writing and orally
- Participation in marketing endeavors
- Strong negotiation skills
- No fear of heights
- Able to carry ladder and other equipment to access roof
Additional Compensation:
Work Remotely
Job Types: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
