Sr Manager, Production Control
Austin, TX
Direct the development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet production goals and quality and cost objectives. Oversee the operations of manufacturing these devices in the area of production. Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. Plan and administer the company’s procedures and budgets. Make budgetary recommendations at higher levels, controlling the capital expenditures and overseeing direct and indirect labor. Manage a department of professional track employees and select, develop, and evaluate the personnel to ensure the efficient operations of the production function. Determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals of assignments received in the form of objectives and develop schedules and requirements for assigned areas.
Reqts: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 5 years of experience in position offered or related position, including 5 years of experience with the following: utilizing industrial engineering and supply chain management concepts of Process Design, Inventory Management, Facility/Warehouse Layout & Design, Logistics Optimization, and Information system – Material Management Systems; developing and implementing Enterprise Management Systems; determining best production scheduling practices, complementing Inventory Control Strategies, and establishing Replenishment systems to be used for smooth Material Flow across the plant; performing Demand Planning and Rough-cut capacity analysis and utilizing Planning Parameters in ERP system; utilizing Financial Accounting Principles and executing strategies to improve KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator’s); and developing Sales and Operations Plans.
