Penn Medicine is in need of a Full Time CT Radiology Technologist for HUP Radiology team.
Duties:
- Perform CT scans on patients using medical imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions
- Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images
- Operate CT equipment and adjust settings to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Monitor patients during scans and address any concerns or issues that arise
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze scan results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum Certifications, Registry and/or Licenses Required: ARRT, CT Certification (required)
- Minimum Degree Requirements and Experience Required: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program with a minimum of two+ years CT experience preferred
- Proficiency in performing CT scans, including knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of mammography techniques is desirable but not required
