Job Title – Compliance Manager
Salary: $80k-90k annually BOE

This is a 1st shift salaried position. Typical hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. No nights. No weekends. Must have the ability to answer occasional after hours calls.
Role and Responsibilities
Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining all Transportation Department records including all required driver files, licensure requirements, accident & maintenance records, and driver logs. This position provides back up to the Dispatcher and makes deliveries during staffing emergencies. **Small fleet, 15-17 drivers**
· Responsible for tracking and monitoring drivers’ logs, CDL licenses, DOT medical examinations and random drug and alcohol testing.
· Accountable for monitoring the standards set forth in the DOT Compliance, Safety, and Accountability (CSA) program.
· Promptly completes appropriate disciplinary action documentation according to Southeastern Paperboard’s & FMCSA policies and procedures.
· Performs visual equipment inspections pre and post trip with drivers.
· Audits maintenance logs for tractors and trailers
· Review and report accident damage in a structured and timely manner.
· Provides back up to the transportation department to ensure excellent service is provided to both internal and external customers. This may include providing supervision to route drivers, responding to customer inquiries, scheduling pick-ups and deliveries, and ensuring administrative paperwork such as payroll and other data entries in the transportation management system.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong Microsoft Office skills
Understanding of IRP documentation and trailer registrations with SCDMV
