Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the chef or head cook
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as directed
- Properly handle and store food to maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and grinders
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Quick service & fast food restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)
- Line Cook: 1 year (Preferred)
- Fine dining: 1 year (Preferred)
- Grill Cook: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
