Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities, to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Work directly with individuals to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors
- Collect data on individual's progress and behavior
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide feedback and support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Familiarity with Special Education practices
- Understanding of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
