SUMMARY:
The Retail Sales Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices.
The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry. The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Smile. Greet customers and present world-class customer service
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Receive and process packages for courier shipping, including lifting and weighing packages on shipping scales, accessing Manifesting software, generating labels and retrieving from customer's vehicle when requested.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Process corporate account program returns (i.e., AMAZON, AT&T/DIRECT TV, XFINITY, etc.)
- Assist in communicating with customers concerning package tracking, late delivery and damage claims.
- Receive, sort and place mail in mailbox modules accurately.
- Record all sales transactions on POS and accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
- Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products.
- Print customers shipping labels and other documents from email.
- Assist in merchandising the center, including stocking shelves with product, ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of product, informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies, being informed of product specifics (i.e., warranties, durability claims, pricing, etc.)
- Close out of POS to include reconciliation of cash, checks, credit cards, and all other transactions accurately and in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
- Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment and all other office machines in a safe, efficient and productive manner. Help customers operate office machines.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
- General housekeeping duties.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Retail/customer service experience
- Good communication and people skills
- Able to cross-sell and up-sell products and services
- Excellent packing skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Outstanding phone skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Available to work in the weekend
- Willingness to become a notary
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers simultaneously
Education and/or Experience:
- 1-2 years customer service experience in a retail environment. Computer experience highly desirable.
Language Skills:
- Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain harmonious relationships with customers in person and over the phone.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Manual hand dexterity required to operate POS, copiers

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
