Symtech Corporation is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our fast-paced and innovative government contracts staffing company. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and securing new client partnerships within the government contracting sector.

This position works from home/remote and has flexible hours with general business hours being M-F 8am-5pm MDT.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Develop a targeted approach to generate leads and create a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Checking schedules such as SAM.gov, GovTribe, and Seaport, for new contract opportunities and write proposals for those opportunities.
- Identify potential clients within the government sector through research, networking, and industry events.
Client Engagement:
- Initiate contact with prospective clients and establish meaningful connections.
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points.
- Present our staffing solutions in a compelling manner, highlighting the value and benefits we offer.
Partnership Development:
- Collaborate with local teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
Appointment Setting:
- Schedule appointments and virtual meetings for more in-depth discussions with prospective clients and loop in local team.
- Act as sales representatives to ensure smooth transition from initial contact to further engagement.
Business Management:
- Perform the duties of Operation Manager on existing contracts.
- Answer phones, email, regular mail, pay bills, files paperwork, manages contracts,
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the government staffing sector.
- Strong understanding of government contracts, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with diverse clientele.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a similar area.
- Two years of proven sales experience in business or a related area.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements, such as using software programs.
- Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
- Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
