POSITION/TITLE: Building Engineer (Residential)
SUMMARY: CWD Group is looking for a Building Engineer to join its team located a 41-story residential, luxury, high-rise condominium in the Belltown area of Seattle. This per would manage the overall maintenance operation and ensure the highest level of resident safety, security, and satisfaction at a premium luxury high rise. This includes compliance with all relevant city, county, and state regulations and building codes, as well as standards set by the Association. This position reports to the Chief Engineer.
Salary: Base salary range of $34.00-$38.00 per hour, based on experience. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime.
Schedule: Friday-Tuesday, 7am-3pm

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
- Building Maintenance: In conjunction with teammates, manages all activities related to the maintenance and repair of all building systems, including internal work orders, and service contracts performed by outside resources.
- Performs maintenance work as necessary to maintain the building to the highest standard.
- Uses various electronic planning and tracking tools.
- Performs inspection of all building systems such as HVAC, electrical/lighting, plumbing, Life Safety, etc.
- Provides input to the team on best practices, future planning, and leadership.
- Responds to any maintenance related emergencies.
Education and Experience
- Must have prior experience in facilities.
- Must have a proven history of personal integrity and reliability.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Building Management System and Work Order Management System knowledge a plus.
- Boiler license, Electrical License, and/ or HVAC experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to communicate in writing.

- Must be able to work both independently, without direct supervision, and as part of a team.
- Must be able to troubleshoot issues and solve problems.
- Requires being on-call on a regular rotation; must have the ability to respond after-hours in a timely manner.
