Our small business manufactures and installs commercial freezer and cooler doors, frames and thresholds, seals freezer boxes and installs gaskets on glass doors. Our main customers are retail grocery stores. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office, ensuring efficiency and productivity. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
-Advising the owner in creating and formulating policies related to accounting, human resources and other areas of management or administration.
- Vendor management, including maintaining relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts
- Payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees
- Supervising office staff, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks
- Schedule management, coordinating appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
-Accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, payroll, company taxes.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years or more office management experience
- Must have experience supervising staff
- Knowledge of computer office equipment and systems. Experience with various office applications. Experience with QuickBooks Online preferable.
- Excellent math skills related to bookkeeping
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,)
- Familiarity with phone systems and other office equipment
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
