We are a new Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel located in North Las Vegas looking to have an energetic and motivated individual join our team. A dependable individual with a passion for hospitality, a willingness to learn, and a flexible schedule. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for upholding the company's cleanliness standards of all guest rooms and common areas located in the hotel. He/she is to report directly to the Hotel Assistant General Manager. At least 1 year of housekeeping management work experience is required. Prior Hilton Brand experience is preferred.

Job responsibilities:
- Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
- Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
- Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective checkouts or discharges to prepare work assignments.
- Coordinates work activities among departments.
- Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
- Evaluates records to forecast department personnel requirements.
- Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure a more efficient operation.
- Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.
- Examines building to determine the need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management.
- Attend staff meetings to discuss company policies and patrons' complaints.
- Issues supplies and equipment to workers.
- Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff.
- Advises manager, desk clerk, or admitting personnel of rooms ready for occupancy.
- Records data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, and time cards, and prepares periodic reports.
Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Fluent in English
- At least 1 year housekeeping supervising experience required
- Housekeeping experience in hotel setting preferred
- Ability to efficiently work under time constraints
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 25 lbs frequently
- Able to work a flexible schedule
