ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide administrative and fiscal oversight to Day Habilitation and Community Habilitation programs to ensure the provision of quality and participant driven services that meet all regulatory standards
2. Identify and provide management support, supervision, training to Day Habilitation program staff.
3. Develop management practices in compliance with all governing regulations to ensure participant and family satisfaction
4. Direct, supervise, create and evaluate the activities of the program staff and develop a wide variety of community sites where services can be implemented
5. Monitor all billing, case note, and timesheet submission for the program staff and ensure that programs are operating within budget guidelines
6. Assess and evaluate staff development needs and ensure that they are sufficiently and routinely addressed through utilization of internal resources.
7. Ensure that enrollment and discharge procedures are carried out in a timely manner, and are consistent with individual’s needs and the agencies policies
8. Conduct home visits and spot checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
9. Interview and select candidates for hire, and provide them with adequate in-service training that reviews the expectations of the programs and agency
10. Manage and review staff schedules and review time sheets
11. Conduct staff meetings and trainings
12. Review progress notes for content accuracy in a timely manner
13. And any and all other tasks as designated by the Associate Executive Director and/or Executive Director
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualification/Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education or related Human service field required, Master’s Degree preferred.
2. At least five experience working in the disabilities field and progressive supervisory experience in MR/DD or related fields.
3. Teaching and Career Development background preferred
4. Excellent written and verbal communication
5. NYS Driver’s License Required
6. Fluency in Spanish Preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
