Responsibilities
- Educate and engage with patients regarding treatment plans that have been carefully diagnosed and reviewed by our experienced doctors and clinical staff
- Present treatment plans and provide clear estimates of associated costs in an effective and informative manner
- Verify patients' insurance benefits and provide detailed breakdowns
- Maintain a comprehensive record of all pending treatment plans
- Explain, endorse, and adhere to company payment policies and procedures
- Effectively manage the submission, tracking, and follow-up of prior authorizations
- Secure high treatment plan acceptance by articulating treatment costs, insurance coverage, and financing options
- Actively seek patient referrals post-treatment while simultaneously tracking patient satisfaction levels
- Establish contact with patients a day before and on the day of their appointments, ensuring clarity on fees due and confirming appointments
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of dental experience as a treatment coordinator
