Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented Salon Receptionist to join our team. The Salon Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet Clients: Welcome clients as they arrive, providing a positive and professional first impression.
- Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm appointments via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring accurate and timely bookings.
- Customer Service: Address client inquiries and concerns, providing information about services, pricing, and promotions.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently check clients in and out, managing payments, and ensuring all necessary forms and records are completed.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the salon, bathrooms and break room clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, sanitizing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, laundry, dishes, etc.
- Sales Support: Promote and sell salon products and services, including retail items and gift certificates.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client records, including contact information and service history.
- Handle Multitasking: Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Inventory Management: Order, maintain, and track salon inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of products and supplies.
- Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Metrics Tracking: Track and report on salon metrics, including appointment bookings, client retention, sales figures, and inventory levels to support business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, bonus if in a salon or spa setting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using scheduling software and basic computer applications.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with clients and staff.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle client complaints and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
