JOB SUMMARY:
Park City’s Junior Project Manager (Jr. PM) supports a team through a project’s life cycle, from concept planning to implementation, construction, and completion. The Jr. PM is the central point of contact and ensures on-time and in-budget delivery, with regular project updates and proactive communication. The Jr. PM monitors deadlines, coordinates status meetings with the project team to document various stakeholder and project updates and creates professional presentations and materials for the City Council and Executive Team, stakeholders, and local media.
The Jr. PM also manages all official project management documents, including the official Project Plan, Project Website, Project Charter, Work Breakdown Structure, and Resource Allocation Plan.
TYPICAL DUTIES:

Documents project plans that outline the project's budget, timeline, schedule, roles, and responsibilities.

Tracks all project expenditures, including hours worked for the team.

Tracks key milestones and monitors progress to communicate with the project team.

Identifies, evaluates, and prevents or mitigates risks that could impact the project's outcomes.

Prepares verbal and written communication with the project communications team for clients and stakeholders.

Tracks, organizes and maintains all incoming and outgoing project documentation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1-2 years of project management experience, informal projects are considered.

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.

Project Management Software or coursework equivalent

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position shares time between office and field work and requires some physical activity to conduct field inspections and oversee projects; outdoor work may be required in extreme weather conditions.

Periodic exposure to stressful situations while working with contractors and community members to accomplish assigned projects.

The noise level in the work environment varies from low to moderate.

Occasional non-traditional working hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
