Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on hospital medicine and primary/pediatric care. Experience with injections, medical documentation, DME, infection control, and patient assessment is preferred. Looking for someone to work 4 to 5 days a week. 9:00am to 4:30pm, lunch from 12-1. Willing to discuss salary or per hour pay. 3 weeks paid vacation, 401k, health and dental available.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform procedures such as tube feedings and neonatal ventilator management
- Document patient medical information accurately and efficiently
- Provide education to patients and their families on health management
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Current state Nurse Practitioner license and certification
- Proven experience in hospital medicine, primary care
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health records systems
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
