Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school's curriculum
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, literacy, and library services
- Utilize early intervention strategies to support students' academic and social-emotional development
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Attend professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills
Experience:
- Previous experience working with elementary school students preferred
- Familiarity with childcare practices and principles
- Strong knowledge of lesson planning techniques and curriculum development
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is a plus
