Customer Service Representative
Tennis Sanitation, L.L.C. is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our family-owned and operated business. We are a local trash and recycling hauler that has proudly served the Southeast Metro for over 58 years! Our CSR team is looking to hire capable and experienced talent to join our team.
Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour.
Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 4:30pm. Due to the nature of our business, this is an in-office position only.
Job Duties:
- Respond effectively and courteously to customer service inquiries, requests or complaints.
- Return all customer calls in a timely manner.
- Research and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Enter service and route data into computer for billing and route scheduling purposes.
- Service all Residential accounts by setting up new accounts from Service Agreements and maintaining proper flow of paperwork from sales to operations.
- Route customers for recycling and trash pick-ups.
- Assist with collections by reinstating customers and processing reinstatement paperwork.
- Contribute to team effort by working together.
- Complete daily tasks as assigned to you by Management.
- Work 2 Saturdays per year following a major Holiday.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Customer service experience.
- Product or industry knowledge preferred, though not necessary.
- Must be able to multi-task and stay focused.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to react well under pressure and treat others with respect.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to meet productivity standards.
- Strong computer skills and ability to use office equipment: typing, navigating computer, mouse, 10 key, fax, telephone, calculator, copier, etc.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Preferred: 6-12 months experience with industry procedures, products and services.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent work experience.
- One year customer service experience preferred.
- Basic customer skills required for inputting and retrieving data.
Physical Demands
- Ability to use a computer throughout the workday while seated at a desk or workstation.
- Ability to stay organized while using different office systems; lifting; pulling; sitting; bending; etc.
