PURPOSE: Follow all procedures and SOPs for the Warehouse and the Production areas regarding movement of product from the production floor to the warehouse and into customer trucks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be aware of hazardous materials in the area and the proper handling of hazardous materials. Awareness achieved through training, MSDS review, safety meetings, and toolbox meetings.

Be aware of, understand, and follow emergency procedures.

Report all spills or other environmental incidents following EHS protocol.

Work in such a manner as to prevent environmental incidents and if asked, to participate in investigations of environmental incidents.

Enter data and provide paperwork required to maintain an efficient warehousing system.
-
Minimize waste and prevent pollution to protect the environment.
-
Perform inventories of raw materials and production products.
- Follow all procedures concerning loading and unloading of trailers.
- Perform all aspects and duties of a Warehouse Attendant as needed or assigned.

Stretch Wrap and stack all products in the warehouse in the correct manner and without damage.
- Perform duties in an efficient manner without damage to company equipment and furnishings.

Schedule inbound and outbound freight in the absence of the supervisor.

Constantly monitor & provide standard housekeeping duties - Keep work area clean.

Perform assignments according to standards-stay in assigned work area.

Follow work instructions and provide/receive constructive feedback from others.

Use spare time and clean up time constructively to keep the warehouse and equipment in good condition.

Promote teamwork with all other employees and departments.

Follow all food safety guidelines while on the manufacturing floor.

Report any deviation from food safety protocol to the functional responsible personnel.

Ensure that (where applicable) the supply chain is made aware of their food safety obligations as our partner in the quest to deliver a safe product to the consuming public.
- Delivers materials to Production in a timely manner.

Responds to upset conditions to Robot Palletizer and keeps materials stocked for robots.

Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality. This is a requirement of this position.

Ability to engage in shift work. Employees in this area will be assigned to shifts, day or night work, or 8,10, or 12-hour shifts.

Customer Interaction required. This position has both internal and external customers, so positive communication is required at all times, both written and verbal.

Teamwork is required of all employees in the facility including positive team communications, conflict management, problem solving, and following principles, policies, and values in the employee handbook and the facility’s-controlled documents.

Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment/clothing applies to all hourly CSI employees in the Longview Warehouse facility. This includes, but is not limited to T-shirt uniforms, pants in good repair, ANSI Z41.1991 Safety Shoes, ANSI Z87.1 Safety Glasses, Approved eyewear, hairnets, gloves, and safety vests in specific applications following our GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) policies. All Salaried employees must also comply with these standards while on the manufacturing floor except the T-shirt uniform requirement.

Travel is not typically required for this position.

Tools and Equipment: Forklift, mobile equipment, various hand, power and pneumatic tools, computer, railcar hose, writing utensils, tape dispenser, stretch wrap, box cutters, general office supplies and equipment.

Environmental Conditions: Warehouse production facility or office environment which is climate controlled and external environments and conditions. Employees may work around moving parts and mobile equipment. Possible exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection if in production area.
