Job Summary: The Director of Logistics and Fulfillment will oversee the entire logistics and fulfillment operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes to meet business goals. This role involves strategic planning, managing supply chain activities, warehouse operations, and fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to optimize the supply chain.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
- Manage the fulfillment process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to align logistics operations with business objectives.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Develop and manage the logistics and fulfillment budget, including forecasting and cost control.
- Implement and maintain technology solutions to enhance logistics and fulfillment efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in logistics and fulfillment, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing warehouse operations and leading logistics teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
