Railroad Track Foreman
Job Summary: The Track Foreman is responsible for the direction of crews involved in the construction, maintenance, and repair of railroad track.
Responsibilities of the Track Foreman include:

Supervise track maintenance team.

Perform track inspections and compile related reports, as required
- Perform some administrative duties.

Conduct training.
- Supervise the completion of inventories.
Requirements
-
A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in the railroad industry

Exceptional communication and presentation skills
-
Previous safety and risk management responsibility in the railroad industry

Railroad Track construction & maintenance experience required
Work and Environmental Conditions:
-
Ability to constantly work in an outdoor environment, exposed to all weather elements, including extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions;

Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including weekends and being on call

Constantly required to use bending, twisting, walking motions on uneven surfaces throughout the entire work shift;

Must be able to work independently;

Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.

Travel occasionally

Adapt to a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize, and apply troubleshooting skills

Supervise and train personnel, directing them to accomplish specific tasks on a daily basis

Operate a variety of equipment, including loaders and specialty railroad equipment

Use hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic equipment
Pay Starts at $24 per hour with benefits, mileage, per diem, etc...
