We are a plastic surgery office looking for a Receptionist to join our team.
The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk area. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, dependable individual who is able to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Duties
- Greet and check-in patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Maintain patient records and update medical charts
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
- Ensure the waiting area and patient rooms are clean and organized
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Rooming patients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
