Reporting to the OSP Construction Manager, the OSP Construction Supervisor plays a vital role in OSP’s leadership team, facilitating and governing field construction of a 450-mile OSP Fiber Network (aerial and underground) build. The OSP Construction Supervisor will specifically direct and support the work of our aerial and splicing construction crews.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe environment and ensure all safety standards are met.
- Must take leadership role in establishing safety culture.
- Responsible for the overall construction schedule, including the scheduling and management of construction inspections and internal inspectors.
- Responsible for construction quality, inspection, and true up of quantities.
- Representing Tilson on site walks or closeout activities with customers and permitting authorities.
- Must be able to identify issues that will cause delays and apply innovative solutions.
- Strong attention to quality construction practices and ensuring timely close out and delivery of the project schedule.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong knowledge in OSP construction techniques and practices (underground and aerial placement).
- Must have strong knowledge of industry standard fiber splicing techniques and practices.
- Two years of direct experience directing and managing OSP construction and inspection crews.
- Willingness to learn new skills, software, and technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Products, and Google Earth.
- OSHA 10 or higher required, or successfully complete within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver’s license.
Travel Expectations: Travel in or outside the region minimal at 10%

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
