Job description
Janitronics Facility Services has an immediate need for an Inventory Control Specialist at a Pharmaceutical Plant. The Inventory Control Specialist job requires someone who can pay very close attention to detail to effectively manage his or her employer’s inventory. The Inventory Control Specialist has the primary responsibility of increasing and maintaining company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels; the candidate also ensures that optimal inventory is present and ready for use. Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills; displays reading comprehension skills. Computer experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
This role is physically intensive, requiring activities such as bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and lifting objects that weigh up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be prepared to stand for extended periods. Additionally, adherence to strict gowning protocols, including wearing a jumpsuit, hood, shoe covers, gloves, hairnet, and facemask, is required.
The position involves conducting specialized inventory tasks within a Cleanroom Manufacturing setting, following established standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Must be computer literate, as completing training modules is a necessity.

- A proactive approach to learning various tasks and the technical aspects of the role.
- Openness to taking on additional responsibilities to support the team.
**Candidates are expected to contribute to maintaining a well-organized and efficient work environment but will not be directly involved with sales, shipping, or purchasing teams. While previous experience in inventory control or a manufacturing setting is beneficial, it is not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Inventory Control Specialist
Gown into all LSM process areas on a weekly basis (Large Scale Manufacturing)
Provide counts of all process area (OPM/Inventory System) raw materials to coordinators in the Commercial Manufacturing Inventory Group for reconciliation of OPM/Physical inventory
Organize materials on shelves to ensure material is where it needs to be when it needs to be
Perform weekly sweeps for about to expire/expired raw materials
Remove excess inventory from Process Areas as needed
Maintain material levels in PPE cabinets within the process areas
Develops and implements procedures for ensuring that adequate inventory levels are present.
Works with other teams including sales, shipping, and purchasing.
Audits the facility’s entire inventory on a regular basis and provides reports to management.
Follows all existing company policies and procedures.
