Job title: Associate Designer: Apparel and Soft Good
The Associate Designer works closely with the Designer to develop and execute the assigned categories with the seasonal trend concepts and merchandise strategy. Manages design execution process to ensure all deadlines are met.

Major Responsibilities / Job Duties
· Manage all pre-production and Top of Production samples – track samples, make comments, document progress, ensure delivery deadlines are met
· Assist the design team in generating design comments in Photoshop and Illustrator, and communicate changes to vendors
· Create and update flat drawings in Illustrator for apparel
· Create and update CADs in Photoshop for other products
· Build tech packs – including construction call-out sheets and BOMs
· Own trim development process – create new artworks by following existing templates, send artworks to vendors, keep all trims organized, comment on and approve samples
· Keep linesheets and product development trackers up-to-date
· Comment on lab dips and strike-offs
· Conduct market research with the design team
· Assist in fittings
· Measure samples
· Receive and ship packages
Essential Skills / Requirements
· Good Photoshop and Illustrator skills
· Knowledge in Excel and other related programs
· Knowledge in garment construction and fit
· Willing to gain knowledge in multiple product categories
· Organization and time management skills
· Detail orientated and responsible
· Good eye for colors and fabrications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Garment construction: 2 years (Preferred)
- Fashion design: 2 years (Preferred)
