Position Summary:
The Developer will play a pivotal role in application development, leveraging Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power BI. They will collaborate closely with clients to craft tailored applications, configure new solutions, adapt existing ones, prototype designs, conduct thorough testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide task estimations.
Minimum Requirements:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or a related field is mandatory.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to Power Apps development.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong proficiency in Office 365 SharePoint and the Power Platform suite (PowerApps, PowerBI, and PowerAutomate).
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and apply new technologies.
- Capacity to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Essential Duties:
- Engage in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) throughout the application development process.
- Lead or contribute to enhancements and upgrades for both on-premise and vendor-managed applications, potentially involving setup, configuration, and system development.
- Analyze requirements and devise solutions that align with specified parameters.
- Lead or participate in peer-to-peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Develop and maintain integrations across multiple applications.
- Conduct thorough unit testing, functional testing, and validation to uphold quality standards.
- Proactively monitor systems for potential issues and take corrective action as necessary.
- Drive the resolution of application and integration issues/defects, whether for on-premise or vendor-managed applications.
- Generate documentation for various purposes including communication, testing, maintenance, and support.
- Act as a liaison with vendors to ensure application alignment with APS IT standards and current technology portfolio.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
- Attend scheduled shifts during regular business hours as mandated.
