Front Desk Administration and Patient Coordinator
Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Front Desk Coordinator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, billing and payments, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism and kindness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Answer patient questions and provide information about our services, scheduling, and billing procedures in a friendly and professional manner.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Insurance Verification: Properly verify insurance benefits before patient appointments to ensure coverage and minimize billing issues.
- Insurance Communication: Maintain timely and complete communication with insurance providers to address coverage questions and resolve any issues.
- Billing and Payments: Collect payments from patients at the time of their visit and ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient interactions and maintain patient records in compliance with clinic policies and privacy regulations.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm).
Benefits:
- Starting wage: $21.00 per hour.
- One week paid vacation after 3 months of employment.

Qualifications:
Paid training provided, however, must be proficient in general computer skills and able to learn new software.
- Preferred by not required: previous experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Comfortable speaking on the phone and in person.
- Able to communicate with patients about financial and billing issues.
- Must be a fast and independent learner.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
